Have collaboration with Robert Koch Institute in Germany and Big data institute in Oxford UK on antimicrobial resistant clinical isolates and resistant genes conferring resistance in Nigerian human and environmental settings. Have published the first paper in Nigeria to report synergy of antibiotics to treat extensively drug resistant enterobacteria from immune compromised patients in Nigeria
Project that involve antimicrobial resistance survey in human or environment (including plants), surveillance of antimicrobial resistance genes in clinical and environmental sources, antimicrobial synergy tests, optimizing antimicrobial use in rural hospitals, stewardship in urban and rural hospitals
