This is a match-making section for JPIAMR Network Call - Diagnostics and Surveillance Networks.
Environment
Air sampling; eDNA sequencing fungicide sensitivity
I am experienced in sampling airborne spores, extracting DNA from air samples, developing and applying DNA-based diagnostic assays to quantify fungicide resistance, phenotyping fungicide sensitivity in a range of plant pathogens, isolation of fungi from different substrates. My lab has worked on Aspergillus and a wide range of plant pathogens.
I would like to join any network investigating aspects of fungicide resistance, gene-flow, impacts of fungicides on selection of fungicide resistance, strategies to reduce fungicide resistance development, methods to monitor eDNA/airborne spores to assess fungicide resistance in populations of fungal species.
