- Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:
Clinical Microbiology Department located at Hospital Donostia (Donostia-San Sebastián, Spain) with around 1,000 beds, maternity and Emergencies. Every day antimicrobial susceptibility tests are done to significant bacterial isolates. Availability of MALDI-TOF for bacterial identification, molecular techniques including PCR, PFGE, Sanger sequencing and bacterial WGS (Illumina and Nanopore).
- Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:
We would like to join a Network focused on the molecular epidemiology and quick detection of multi-drug resistant clinical bacteria. It is also of interest for our group the surveillance of community acquired infections (pneumococcal, meningococcal, listeriosis, etc.).
