New funding opportunity on Cultural Heritage

The National Science Centre together with JPI Cultural Heritage invites researchers to submit applications under  the call for proposals on Cultural Heritage.

JPI Cultural Heritage has announced a call for proposals including 4 research topics. However, the NCN will fund only projects in basic research developing the forth topic: Increasing understanding of cultural values, valuation, interpretation, ethics and identity around all forms of cultural heritage (tangible, intangible and digital heritage).

We invite proposals for research projects in basic research which involve researcher teams from at least three different eligible countries funding research projects developing the above  topic. Projects with duration of up to three years can be proposed. Within this call the NCN Council has allocated 150 000 EUR for Polish research projects.

Countries participating in the call for proposals funding research projects developing the topic Increasing understanding of cultural values, valuation, interpretation, ethics and identity around all forms of cultural heritage (tangible, intangible and digital heritage):

  3. Denmark
  4. Ireland
  5. Italy
  6. Lithuania
  7. Poland
  8. Spain
  9. Slovenia
  10. The Netherlands

Research projects are invited with a deadline of April 5 2013, 18:00 Central European Time.
