Dr Michał Futyra
A media expert specializing in intercultural communication, international negotiation, political mythology and South-East Asia studies. His Ph. D. entitled "The Role of Mass Media in Popularizing Founding Myths on the Example of Selected Nation-States of Southeast Asia" defended with distinction. Between 2013 and 2017 he formed and managed the Institute for Research on Civilizations in Tischner European University in Krakow. He was a member of the editorial board and deputy editor in the scientific journal "Culture and Politics". He authored several articles in scientific journals, educational programmes, training courses for business and NGO'ses and co-author of the intercultural communication textbook. He carried out researches including in Myanmar, Thailand, Lao, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malesia, Indonesia, Nepal or India.
Since October 2020 he works for the Polish National Science Centre (NCN) as a Discipline Coordinator for Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.
