The European Network of Research Integrity Offices (ENRIO)

The European Network of Research Integrity Offices (ENRIO) brings together experts who deal with the integrity of research in the EU Member States.

The network was created immediately after the 1st World Conference on Research Integrity, which took place in Lisbon in 2007, on the initiative of the director of the UK Research Integrity Office (UKRIO) and eight other persons dealing with this issue.

An informal network without legal personality, ENRIO currently comprises 29 member organisations from 23 European countries.  Membership is open to representatives of national agencies or organisations as well as other groups that support the ENRIO objective, namely care and responsibility for any issues related to research integrity.

The National Science Centre became a member of ENRIO in April 2018. Apart from the Centre, Poland is also represented by the National Committee for Cooperation with ENRIO at the Presidium of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
