Received her MSc in chemistry (specialising in biological chemisty) from the Faculty of Chemistry, Jagiellonian University, followed by environmental doctoral studies at the same faculty. She is also a fully eligible teacher, graduate of the Pedagogical College, Jagiellonian University. In 2012, she was awarded doctoral degree in chemistry (title of the dissertation: “Processes of photoinduced charge and energy transfer in presence of nanocrystaline TiO₂ photosensitized with Ti^IV complexes”). She has co-authored scientific papers published in international press, and two patent applications. She has worked on seven different research projects, including a supervisor research grant and the international 4-G PHOTOCAT research project under the EC’s 7^th Framework Programme.

Since January 2016, with the National Science Centre, as Coordinator for Physical Sciences and Engineering.

In her free time, she does gym, reads sci-fi and fantasy books, and plays action games.
