He was born in Przemyśl. A scientist, specialising in heterogeneous catalysis (supported bimetallic catalysts).
Graduate of the Faculty of Chemistry at Jagiellonian University (2012). His master's thesis was entitled ‘‘Determination of normal lead concentrations in biological material using GF AAS technique’’ and was carried out in the Institute of Forensic Research in Krakow. In 2016, he graduated from a full-time engineer′s course at the Faculty of Materials Science and Ceramics at AGH University of Science and Technology.
Between 2012-2017, a student of the International Doctoral Studies at the Jerzy Haber Institute of Catalysis and Surface Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences. His PhD thesis was entitled ‘‘The effect of bimetallic Pd-X (X = Au, Ir) particles structure in supported catalysts on the C=O/C=C selectivity in hydrogenation of unsaturated carbonyl reagents’’.
The research included issues related to the synthesis and characterisation of bimetallic catalysts performed in hydrogenation and electro-oxidation reactions.
Co-author of many scientific publications in journals from the Master Journal List, numerous conference participant, both nationally and internationally. Contributor in a strategic research project financed by the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) ‘‘Technologies supporting development of safe nuclear power engineering. A study of hydrogen generation processes in nuclear reactors under regular operation conditions and in emergency cases, with suggested actions aimed at upgrading nuclear safety” in 2012-2015. Two-time awardee of a special scholarship bestowed by the Marian Smoluchowski Krakow Scientific Consortium (National Leading Research CentreCentre, 2012-2017). Participant in national (Institute of Forensic Research in Krakow, Teva Operations Poland Ltd.) and foreign internships (European Bioenergy Research Institute, Great Britain; University of Reggio di Calabria, Italy; Vigo University, Spain; BASF, Germany). Awarded by the International Association of Catalysis Societies with the Young Scientist Prize Award 2016 for outstanding scientific achievements in the field of catalysis. The award was presented during the XVI World Congress of Catalysis in Beijing.
From April 2017 to October 2017, employed as a specialist at the Jerzy Haber Institute of Catalysis and Surface Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences, where he subsequently took up the position of an assistant professor.
Since 2018 he has been working for the National Science Centre (NCN).
He spends his free time on travels to near and far. He is a seasonal mushroom picker with passion.
