Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF)
The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF, German: Schweizerischer Nationalfonds zur Förderung der wissenschaftlichen Forschung, SNF; French: Fonds national suisse de la recherche scientifique, FNS) was established as a private foundation in 1952. It promotes scientific research in all academic disciplines under a government mandate. Together with higher education institutions and other partners, the SNSF works towards creating the best possible conditions for the development and international integration of Swiss research. One of its main goals is providing support for young scientists.
On 22 November 2018, an agreement between the SNSF and the NCN was signed, aimed at launching Swiss-Polish joint bilateral projects with unilateral administration and mutual recognition of the evaluation results. More information on the terms pursuant to which CEUS proposals can be submitted under the OPUS 20 call.
